Each year, the Government of Canada allows organizations and individuals to provide input on the following year’s budget. The 2022 federal budget has huge impacts on Canadian cider producers, as such, Cider Canada / Cidre Canada has submitted on behalf of the almost 370 cider producers outlining concerns around the incoming Excise Tax. We thank Wine Growers Canada for working with us on this submission, as currently cider is classified as wine in Canada and thus we are highly interconnected with the wine industry.
